Courtney Riggle

Courtney is proposal coordinator and project manager for IC-FOODS. Courtney works with all aspects of IC-FOODS to help foster growth of collaborations internally and with external partners, for research, grant proposals, conference planning, and consortium building.

Aaron Baer

Aaron Baer is a recent graduate of the University of California, Davis. He created and published an ontology with terms for the unambiguous characterization of sensory events, he is also currently working on an ontology for the characterization of different types of fermentation and the organisms that perform fermentation.

Meghan Ponna

Meghan is a recent graduate from University of California, Davis who is working on building a model for health promotion and decision support ontologies through characterization of cardiovascular health, physical activity, and diet interventions.

Constantine Spyrou

Constantine is a recent graduate of UC Davis and a current graduate student in the MBA/MS Food Science Program at Chapman University. He is working on the development of uc_FIDO: Food Interactions with Drugs Ontology.

Kimiya Taji

Kimiya Taji is an undergraduate at the University of California, Davis working on an ontology for unambiguous characterization of eating and food habits or also known as uc_Eating.

Chiara Cecchini

Chiara is the an alumni of Food Innovation Program from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. She founded Feat, a company which aims to make wellness accessible and fun. She is also one BCFN Foundation Alumni and a research affiliate of Institute For The Future. At UC Davis, she is working on a Knowledge Model to Guide Development of Ontologies and Data Standards for Physical Activity, Health and Fitness.
