Wine Tasting in the Dark

During the opening reception for the inaugural IC-FOODS conference, blind Professor of Computational Chemistry and Sensory Science, Dr. Hoby Wedler will guide participants through a gentle introduction to ontologies, as we taste wines while blindfolded, and learn to characterize their sensory phenomena with words. Dr. Wedler will teach us how to appreciate wines, from feelings to molecules, while leading us down one of his magical "Tastings in the Dark" tours, through an array of Francis Ford Coppola Winery wines.
